Felix, son of the feared Roman commandant on the prison island of Patmos, is struggling to find meaning in life. He's done something terrible to another human being, and his whole future seems to be ruined.

Felix comes to John the apostle for advice, and through the story of Esau and Jacob, John explains what's happening inside Felix. John the apostle, through stories from his own time with Jesus, points to the solution for Felix - and for anyone else who's longing for meaning and fellowship with our Creator.

However, John's solution isn't easy to accept, and Felix has to go through severe inner struggles.
